EasyEquities is running a competition in partnership with Youth Money Circle for our Savings Month from the 3^rd of July at 11h59 to the 27^th of July 2018 at 16h40 when the South African markets close. The competition will be promoted via social media and communicated on via email.

EE users will need to stay engaged with us and Youth Money Circle on Twitter, Instagram and/or Facebook on insights about how they will be saving up in the month of July. Non- EE users may apply but will need to open an EE account, FICA the account, and deposit their savings in their EasyEquities ZAR account.

We will then randomly select two winners at the end of the month, one of which is the most engaged on social media and has deposited in their ZAR account will receive double their deposit value up to a monetary value of R10 000 in their Tax-Free Savings Account.
The other winner would be a previously un-invested user on EasyEquities who deposits the most funds into their account before the end of the competition. In the event of the latter, the deposit-match prize will be limited to a maximum value of R33 000 (as per yearly TFSA deposit limit). Prizes may change depending on the availability or vary in value and is not transferable. 

How to enter

The EE users will need to follow EasyEquities and Youth Money Circle on Twitter, Facebook, and/or Instagram and share their money saving tips and insights on social media. Winners will need to deposit funds in their EasyEquities ZAR account to stand a chance, and the winner will receive double their funds in their Tax-Free Savings Account. Non- EE users may apply but will need to open an EasyEquities account, FICA their account and either engage with us on social media, and make their savings deposits into their ZAR accounts.

Eligibility

The competition is sponsored by EasyEquities and is open only to South African residents. All EE users can partake in this competition including non- EE users who will be required to apply and open an EasyEquities account and FICA their account before making any deposits into their accounts. The two selected winners will be selected according to the above mentioned criteria. Given the yearly TFSA limit of R33 000 the selected winners will need to ensure their yearly deposit limit has not been reached. 

Competition Period.

The competition period will run from the 3^rd of July at 11h59 until 27^th of July 2018, 16h40 when South African markets close, with the winners to be decided by the 28^th of July 2018. EasyEquities accounts must be opened and FICA’d during the competition entry period.

Winners selection and notification

Two winners will be randomly selected according to a draw, should they fulfill the following criteria:

• Engagement on social media, and has deposited in their EasyEquities ZAR account will receive double their deposit value up to a monetary value of R10 000 (referred to as the "Saving Guru")
• User who has deposited funds in their EasyEquities ZAR account for the first time since registering, with a limit of R33 000 (referred to as the "Champion Saver") 

Winners will be notified at the Youth Money Circle event on the 28^th of July 2018, and announced on Social Media. 

Terms and Conditions

There is no entry fee to enter this competition.

Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via the EasyEquities social media pages and email communication to existing clients. Registration takes place via the EasyEquities website. 

EasyEquities reserves the right to cancel or amend the draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of EasyEquities’ control. EasyEquities will notify entrants of any changes to the competition as soon as possible.

EasyEquities is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party who is not a representative or authorised by EasyEquities connected with this competition.

No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. EasyEquities has the discretion to change the prize due to unavailability and will endeavor to bring the experience close to the prize as indicated above. The prize is not transferable.

Winners will be chosen by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the competition period.

The winner must be able to receive emails or phone call from EasyEquities and will need to register and FICA an EasyEquities account to claim the prize. The winner will be notified within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material and has the right to decline the use of his/her image in our marketing material by notifying us via an email prior to the end of the competition. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation(s) and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
